Once you've purchased the SIM card, you need to activate it. Follow the instructions provided by your mobile service provider to activate your SIM card. You may need to call or go online to complete the activation process.
Once your SIM card is activated, you can add credit to make calls or sign up for a plan. You can add credit by purchasing a top-up voucher or by using online payment methods. If you opt for a plan, you can choose from a variety of options based on your usage and budget.
Turn off your iPhone.
Locate the SIM card tray on the side of your iPhone. It's usually on the right side of the device.
Use the SIM eject tool that came with your iPhone or a paperclip to eject the SIM card tray.
Place the nano-SIM card into the SIM card tray. Make sure that the gold contacts on the SIM card face downwards and the notched corner aligns with the notched corner on the tray.
Push the SIM card tray back into the iPhone until it clicks into place.
Turn on your iPhone and follow the instructions to complete the setup process.
